1. Hachiko

For animal lovers all over the world, the story of the puppy Hachiko should not be unfamiliar. Hachiko is an Akita dog born in 1923 on a farm near Odate City in Akita Prefecture. The owner of this dog is Professor Hidezaburo Ueno, who lives near Shibuya Station in Japan.

When the professor goes to work every morning, Hachiko will follow him to Shibuya Station to wait for him to buy a train ticket and wait for him to disappear. In the evening, Hachiko sat on the small platform in front of the station and waited for the professor to come home from get off work.

But then one day in May 1925, Professor Ueno died of a heart attack at work, and Hachiko was still waiting hopefully for his friend at the station. Hachiko doesn't know yet and has been waiting at the station for more than 9 years.

For many years, Lao Pan lived happily with his dog. Then one day, when he died in 2011 at the age of 68, the dog stayed with him until the end of his life. When Lao Pan was buried in the cemetery of Panjiatun Village, the dog guarded the owner's tomb for several days without eating or drinking.

After the villagers saw the dog guarding the owner's grave for many days, they brought it home with food, but it still refused to leave the owner's grave. In the end, they had to bring food and water to the cemetery to raise the dog and built a shelter for it next to Lao Pan's grave.

3. Hawkeye

Hawkeye is a military dog who is very close to his owner and trainer, Jon Tomlinson. Tomlinson was a U.S. Navy SEAL who was shot down in 2011 when the Chinook helicopter carrying the task force was shot down.

Hawkeye became famous around the world when a photo taken at Tomlinson's funeral went viral on social media. In the middle of the funeral, the dog Hawkeye walked up to Tomlinson's coffin and fell next to the body of his beloved owner, letting out a mournful sigh.
