Hearing the voiceless cry for help, the pet dog opened the car door and jumped into the water to fight with the shark to save the owner from death

Despite being chased ashore, the pit bull-like dog scrambled to find a way to attack the shark savior, without whom things would have certainly been worse.

James White still bears the teeth marks from the shark that bit him about three weeks ago. But in exchange, that shark must still be suffering from the bite of his dog Darby. That's right, it dived into the water at the risk of its life, fought the ocean killer, and rescued its owner. Everything that happened was extremely spectacular. When he came out, though, most were less than convinced that the story was true, and White had to "show off" the whole picture before accepting it.

Darby is a pitbull breed, so instinctively extremely loyal to its owner and especially capable of formidable fighting, it is ready to rush into danger when it sees its owner being attacked.

It was July 21. Mr. White from Rohnert Park, Sonoma County, California, USA was fishing off the coast of Bodega Bay. Because the fishing ground is very close to the road, he left his pet dog, Darby, in the car parked not far away. After putting the bait for a while, the fish finally bit the hook, but the strength of the fish seemed to be quite great, and it wasted a lot of effort. He said: "It took about 10 minutes to pull the fishing line. The reason why I was able to pull the line I came back because the fish swam towards me.

And when he stepped into the shallow water, the man realized that he was hanging on his hook a bull shark nearly 2 meters long. White decided to remove the hook and release the fish, but it lost control and turned around and bit White's heel with its sharp teeth. "Blood was going around immediately, the first bite hit an artery. It was very tense," recalls White.

Lucky for him, the pet dog heard the cry for help and ran to the rescue

No matter how hard he tried, he couldn't get rid of those dead teeth. At this time, he shouted for help from several other fishermen, but they were too far away to help at all. He thought everything was at an impasse, but at this moment, Darby on the shore heard the silent scream of his master. It kept trying to open the door and rushed towards the owner. Unfazed, the 45kg bulldog jumped into the water and bit the shark's gills. It seemed that because of the pain, the murderer bit White's leg harder.

"I told him 'don't back off' and then Darby changed position, grabbed the fish by the tail, and pulled it back to the shore and it finally pulled the monster off my lap," Mr. White said. Without Darby, White didn't know how to get rid of the aggressive shark and said his pet dog saved his leg from more serious injuries. "It's been part of my family since day one. I'd probably be worse off without it," said James White, proud of Darby.
